Having had a background in both fiber optics and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) with his previous employer in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington, Mr. Drennon brought that expertise with him to start Drennon Construction and Consulting Inc. Early on Drennon sub contracted to UTI, on a large scale fiber project along the Parks highway between Fairbanks, and Anchorage, installing HDPE conduits in frozen, wetland, marsh, and even solid rock soils.
